beef wellington

  1. Preheat the oven 210-220 degrees centigrade
  2. Remove Beef from Packaging keep on baking paper place the beef on a baking tray & place in middle of the oven. Depending on how you like your beef cooked will determine cooking time
  • Rare – 20-25 minutes
  • Medium/rare -25-30 minutes
  • Medium – 35-40 minuets
  • Well done – 45/50 minutes
  1. Place vegetables in microwave in steaming bag for 2 minutes, full power.
  2. Place the potato dauphinoise on a baking tray in the oven 20 minutes before the beef is due to come out.
  3. Remove the beef from the oven and allow the beef to rest for 10 minuets, dauphinoise in the oven
  4. Heat port Jus in small sauce pan
  5. Carefully trim the ends off each end of the beef wellington with a serrated knife then cut in half and serve
